Oh my what can I say about this amazing wedding!
Jamie and Tom got married at Gainsborough Old Hall.
Jamie & Tom’s outfits were made by Gina Clark from Tudor Dreams Historical Costumier. The company also provided the rest of the decorations and also hired the costumes to the guests.
Jamie wanted her bouquet to be full of scent just like how the tudors would of had but still be a bit in this century. Flowers I used were Norma Jean roses, lavender, rosemary, matthiola stocks, was flower, wheat, clematis, thistle and eucalyptus. Also finished with fabric from the dresses and peacock feathers.
The bridesmaid dress were hand made by Jamie and her sister Kelly and what a fantastic job they did! They also had smaller version's of jambs bouquet.
Old Gainsborough Hall was the perfect venue for this amazing themed wedding, A little-known gem, Gainsborough Old Hall is among the biggest and best-preserved medieval manor houses in England. It is part timber-framed but mostly brick-built. It was built in the latter part of the 15th century with Elizabethan additions, and has an impressive kitchen with an enormous fireplace, a noble great hall, and an imposing lodgings tower.
Fabulous cake by Cherry blossom Cakes in Bawtry they chose a chocolate wrapped cake with gold dusted fruit to complement their tudor theme. Four tiers of chocolate caramel were served for desert and the top their of chocolate orange was saved for the happy couple.
