This wedding is so close to my heart and its taken me all year to blog about it. I was so honoured that Kelly choose little old me to be part of her special day.
Kelly runs her own Bridal Wear Business (KMR Bespoke Bridal Wear) and I’ve worked with her on on many shoots but there was one special shoot (click on this link) that made Kelly say yes to me and many more fabulous suppliers.
The flowers Kelly choose were: David austin roses darcy, peonies, sweet avalanche roses, daisys veronica, astilbe, astrantia, dahlias and vintage carnations that her grandma loved.
The bridesmaids held smaller version bouquets and wore dresses by Jenny Packham with soft, flowing skirts and sparkly bodices, together with silver sandals from Dune.
Kelly designed her very own wedding dress (of course!) using vintage lace, which was also used to finish her bouquet. I think the dress looked absolutely fantastic.

All the buttonholes were finished with string Glynn provided, wrapped around a David Austin rose and included all elements from Kellys bouquet.
I cannot remember how many jars of flowers I made but there were LOADS and it filled the room at Elsham Hall beautifully. All the jars were finished with lace supplied by Kelly.
I also decorated the back drop behind the top table, which was a lovely addition to the room.
We also made sure there were some spare empty jars so we could display the bridal bouquet for extra impact on the top table. We also filled single medicine bottles with David Austin roses.
Also, every chair had a fresh sweet avalanche rose in the middle of the bows.
The biggest challenge was the Photo Booth, in which I placed arrangements all around and the bottom of the frame. I have been in the process in making a frame for brides to hire, but its on hold at the moment as I've moved house and been settling into the new workshop/orangery.
I'll be getting my thinking cap on after my wedding season.

And finally, the amazing 5 tier cake by Ange at The Snowdrop Cakery cannot go without mentioning. I just decorated with cluster of fish flowers and fruit on the day.
