Secret Barn Wedding

A glamourous wedding filled to the brim with blush pink for this secret barn wedding. If only there was a scent button for these flowers for you all to smell - I can assure you they smelt amazing!

This was the biggest wedding I have ever taken on so far, my studio was absolutely full to the brim with gorgeous flowers.

The glam bridal bouquet featured David Austin roses Constance, bombastic roses, astilbe, mattholia, sweet avalanche roses, peonies, and grand o hara roses.

The marquee held 34 tables in total, in which I adorned a mixture of tall and small vases. I hand-sprayed every vase copper (and I will admit it was a challenge as on the day there seemed to be a shortage of copper spray in the country) but, we just made it. Just!

The flowers all matched the wedding bouquet, including hydrangeas and eucalyptus trailing down.

It was prety hard to get a good picture of the top table, it was just so long. Around 12ft long! I ended up using about 8 bricks of oasis in total, all full of lush roses and hydrangeas.

The wedding took place in a purpose-customised barn on the groom's family estate, so I dressed the barn with 2 huge pedestal arrangements and all of the window sills.

We scattered rose petals down the aisle, and adorned the end of the chairs with david austin roses constance. Watch this space too as this barn will be available to hire exclusively.

I really couldn't include a picture of this amazing cake. It was by far the biggest cake I think I've ever seen. Huge!

It was such an amazing wedding, which I am so proud to have been a part of. I was extremely thankful to my family and friends who helped me through it - I couldn't have done it without you!

I still have very limited availability for wedding flowers this year, and I'm starting to get dates booked for 2018. So if you're interested in Paeony Floral Design for your wedding, do get in touch as spaces are quickly filling up!
